JoAnn Bednarek, 74, of Festus died Aug. 30, 2018, at Baisch Nursing Center in De Soto. Mrs. Bednarek was a house cleaner and attended church. Born Aug. 25, 1944, in St. Louis, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Anna (Keir) Bednarek.
She is survived by one sister: Dorothy Pratt of St. Clair; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by one brother: Joseph Bednarek; and four sisters: Margaret White, Delores Boehner, Christine Mueller, and an infant sister, Carol Bednarek.
Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 5 at De Soto City Cemetery, officiated by Chaplain John Davis. Arrangements are under the direction of Dietrich-Mothershead Funeral Home.
