Jim Henderson, 82, of De Soto died Nov. 15, 2021, in De Soto. Mr. Henderson was a postal clerk for the U.S. Postal Service. He enjoyed fishing, working on his farm and working on anything with his hands. Born Oct. 31, 1939, in Datto, Ark., he was the son of the late Jack Henderson and Christine (Ciscell) Shaw.
He is survived by two sons: Randy (DeeDee) Henderson of De Soto and William Henderson of De Soto; a daughter: Kelly Crumpton of De Soto; four grandchildren: J.R. (Morgan), Jerrod (Whitney), Robert (Brandi), Bailey and Waelyn; and four great-grandchildren: Kalli, Landon, Jayde and Addilynn. He was preceded in death by his brother: Gene (Freda) Henderson.
Visitation is scheduled from 4-7 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 18, at Mahn Funeral Home, 900 Main St., in De Soto. Services will be at 10 a.m. on Friday, Nov. 19 at Mahn Funeral Home De Soto. Interment will be in Woodlawn Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Mahn Funeral Home De Soto.
