Jim Harr, 62, of High Ridge died Dec. 24, 2018. Mr. Harr loved traveling with his wife, especially visiting the redwood forests in California, target shooting, motor sports and music. He was a member of his church’s choir and sound ministry. He also loved his family, particularly his grandchildren. Born Nov. 26, 1956, in St. Louis, he was the son of the late Norma (Gamber) Harr and Donald (Elaine Woelfert) Harr of Affton.

He is survived by his wife: Linda (Bockenkamp) Harr; three stepsons: Rodney Moentmann of House Springs, Jon (Sheryl) Moentmann of High Ridge and Scott (Amy) Moentmann of Imperial; six grandchildren: Alexis, Kaity, Maggie, Mason, Isabelle and Nathan; a sister: Sara (Richard) Smith of Hillsboro; two nephews: Christopher and Thomas Smith; two great-nephews: Jordan and Kaden; a great-niece: Lily; an uncle: Steve (Peggy) Gamber of High Ridge; an aunt: Lois Gamber of Terre du Lac; and numerous family members and friends.

Visitation will be from 5-8 p.m. Friday, Jan. 25, at First Unity Church of St. Louis, 4753 Butler Hill Road, in St. Louis. Memorial service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 26, at the church, followed by a luncheon. Memorials may be made to the First Unity Church of St. Louis. Arrangements are under the direction of Chapel Hill Mortuary, Cedar Hill.
