Jessica Marie Eckstein, 34, of Pevely died Dec. 26, 2016, in Pevely. Mrs. Eckstein was a medical assistant at Mercy Urgent Care. Born Sept. 21, 1982, in Crystal City, she was the daughter of Dennis (Ruth) Schutte of Potosi and Kathleen “Kathy” (Daniel “Beaver”) Gibson Voyles of Cedar Hill.
In addition to her parents, she is survived by her husband: Thomas Eckstein of Pevely; a daughter: Hayden Eckstein of Pevely; a sister: Brittany Brewer of Cedar Hill; and her parents-in-law: Gene and Jody Eckstein of Paris.
A funeral service was held Dec. 30 at Dietrich-Mothershead Funeral Home in De Soto, officiated by Pastor Randy Starkey. Burial was in the Mount Olive Cemetery in De Soto. Arrangements were under the direction of Dietrich-Mothershead Funeral Home.
