Jerrold L. Jokerst, 73, of Imperial died June 5, 2016, in St. Louis County. Mr. Jokerst owned Jokerst Brothers Auto Body. He was born Jan. 14, 1943, in St. Louis, the son of the late Edwin and Theresa (Bacher) Jokerst.
He was preceded in death by his wife: Wanda Jane (Fitzenreider) Jokerst.
He is survived by a son: Russell (Amanda) Jokerst; a daughter: Natalie (Aaron) Mednik of Imperial; two grandchildren: Madelyn and Mackenzie Mednik; two brothers: James (Cheryl) Jokerst and John (Joyce) Jokerst; three sisters: Janice (the late Jr.) Burnett, Judy Bennett and Jean (Linn) Gambill; and two sister-in-laws: Rozlind (Glyn) Richards and Jean (Don) Hill.
Visitation will be held from 4-8 p.m. Wednesday, June 8, at Heiligtag-Lang-Fendler Funeral Home, 1081 Jeffco Blvd., in Arnold, and from 10-11 a.m. Thursday, June 9, at St. John’s Lutheran Church, 3517 Jeffco Blvd., in Arnold, followed immediately by funeral services. Burial will be at St. John’s Lutheran Church Cemetery, in Arnold. Memorials may be made to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. Arrangements are under the direction of Heiligtag-Lang-Fendler Funeral Home.
