Jerome S. “Romy” Spruell, 55, of De Soto died Sept. 10, 2019, in De Soto. Mr. Spruell was a construction laborer. Born May 20, 1964, in St. Louis, he was the son of Seraphine (Bequette) Spruell of De Soto and the late Harlie Grover Spruell.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by five siblings: Nathan (Karen) Spruell, Kevin “Sach” (Vicki) Spruell, Flavin (Carlen) Spruell, Davalie (the late John) Fraser and Ardis Fischer of De Soto.
He was preceded in death by a sister: Julie Spruell.
Private graveside services were held. Burial was in the Calvary Cemetery in De Soto. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society or to the Adopt-An-Angel program at St. Rose of Lima Church in De Soto. Arrangements were under the direction of Dietrich-Mothershead Funeral Home in De Soto.
