Jerome G. Freihaut, 63, of Dittmer died Aug. 12, 2022. Mr. Freihaut was a Christian and involved with the church. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and spontaneous adventures, and he loved his dog, Ace. Born June 24, 1959, in St. Louis, he was the son of the late Genevieve (Halmich) and Walter Freihaut.
He is survived by three children: Justin (Sarah) Freihaut, Daniel Freihaut and Jamie (Josh) Frank; two godchildren: Adam Freihaut and Dylon McDowell; one goddaughter: Jasara Freihaut; one brother: Gary (Carol) Freihaut; and two former wives: Lynn Freihaut-Rutledge and Diana Simon.
He was preceded in death by two siblings: Steve and Ronnie Freihaut.
Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. Friday, Aug. 26, at Chapel Hill Mortuary, 6300 Hwy. 30, in Cedar Hill. A memorial service will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 27, at the funeral home. Arrangements are under the direction of Chapel Hill Mortuary.
