Jennie T. (Augustyniak) Wright, 97, of Hillsboro died July 20, 2020, in St. Louis. Mrs. Wright was a member of Good Shepherd Catholic Church in Hillsboro and a longtime employee at Carter Carburetor. She loved to garden and was an animal lover and a loving aunt who brought joy to her family and friends. She was born Feb. 21, 1923, in St. Louis, the daughter of the late Bruno and Eva (Jaczemska) Augustyniak. She was preceded in death by her husband: Fred Wright.
She is survived by two nieces: Bev (the late Carl) Enloe of St. Louis and Sandy (Michael) Moonier of Arnold; two nephews: Dennis (Pat) Augustyniak of Crestwood and Danny (Junela) Augustyniak of St. Charles; and a host of great-nephews and nieces.
She was preceded in death by two sisters: Sr. M. Gerarda Augustyniak O.S.F. and Natalie Terry; two brothers: Bro. Leonard Augustyniak O.S.F. and Edward Augustyniak; a sister-in-law: Penny Augustyniak; and a nephew: Ronald St. Germain.
Visitation is scheduled from 9-11 a.m. Friday, July 24, at the Robert D. Brown Funeral Home in Hillsboro, followed by a funeral Mass at 11:30 a.m. at Good Shepherd Catholic Church in Hillsboro. Burial is in the National Cemetery at Jefferson Barracks. Memorials may be made to Good Shepherd Catholic Church. Arrangements are under the direction of Robert D. Brown Funeral Home.
