Jeffrey Charles Micke, 51, of De Soto died Oct. 8, 2021, at Mercy Hospital Jefferson in Crystal City. Mr. Micke worked as a heavy equipment mechanic and a powder coater. He enjoyed fishing, working on weed trimmers and spending time with his family. He was born Feb. 23, 1970, in Fort Walton Beach, Fla., the son of Debbie Lynn (Davis) and Glennon Charles Micke of De Soto.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by a daughter: Abbygail Ward-Micke of De Soto; a brother: Joe Micke of De Soto; his niece and nephew: Jared Micke and Meaghan Micke; a great-nephew: Blake Micke; and many other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by a daughter: Sierra Ward.
A memorial gathering is scheduled from 4-7 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 16, at Mahn Funeral Home, 900 N. Main St., in De Soto. Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105. Arrangements are under the direction of Mahn Funeral Home.
