Jeffrey Cahill, 61, of Mt. Vernon, Maine, formerly of Festus, died Aug. 2, 2017, at his home. Mr. Cahill was an avid outdoorsman and family man who enjoyed hunting, fishing, cooking, and craftsmanship. His greatest joy in life was spending time with his daughters, grandchildren, brother Tim, fiancee, cousins, and friends. Born Oct. 7, 1955, he was the son of the late Sylvia (Keniley) and John “Buddy” Cahill.
He is survived by his fiancee: Kathy Clark; two daughters: Leeanne (Shane Smith) McCusker of Imperial and Michele (Ryan) Enloe of Barnhart; four grandchildren: Chloe, Daltyn, Layla and Dean; and two brothers: Timothy M. Cahill of Mt. Vernon, Maine, and Micheal “Kip” Kipfinger of Abington, Mass..
A graveside ceremony will be held at 11 a.m. Sunday, Aug. 27, at the Shepherd Hills Cemetery, 1925 Old Hwy. M, in Barnhart, immediately followed by a celebration of life reception at TBC Venue, 8721 Commercial Blvd., in Pevely.
