Jeffrey Allen Reed, 47, of Festus died Sept. 9, 2018, at his home. Mr. Reed was a floral delivery driver for Schnucks in Festus. He was a member of Elks Lodge 1721 and Mississippi River Eagles Aerie 4341, both in Crystal City. Born Sept. 19, 1970, in Crystal City, he was the son of the late Dixie Belcher and William Philip Reed.
He is survived by his wife: Melissa (Maloney) Reed; two sons: Patrick (Edward) Maloney of Minneapolis, Minn., and Cody Reed of Festus; three daughters: Ashley (Jeremy) Crader of De Soto, Samantha Hudson of Festus and Stephanie Reed of Festus; a brother: William Aaron Reed of Crystal City; and five grandchildren: Matthew, Tyler, Brandon, Emery and Bryan.
A memorial gathering will be held from 1-4 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 16, at Elks Lodge 1721, 4 Elks Acres, in Crystal City. Arrangements are under the direction of Vinyard Funeral Home in Festus.
