Jeanette E. Amsden, 80, of Hillsboro died March 6, 2020, at her home. Mrs. Amsden was a homemaker. Born July 21, 1939, in St. Louis, she was the daughter of Ellen (Hawkins) and Elmer Bridges.
She was preceded in death by her husband: Tom Amsden.
She is survived by three children: Belinda Niemann of Hillsboro, Brian (Lisa) Amsden of Hillsboro and Bruce (Luz) Amsden of Hillsboro; three siblings: Larry Bridges Sr., Sue Buerger and Deborah Montgomery; and six grandchildren: Tom, Ethan, Ceylan, Cassie, Angelica and Alex.
She was preceded in death by a son-in-law: Lloyd “Butch” Niemann Jr.; three sisters: Jenice Bridges, Jean Sapper-McIntyre and Joan Helm; and five brothers: Melford, Quentin, Conrad, Melvin and Robert Bridges.
Visitation will be from 4-7 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 10, at Dietrich-Mothershead Funeral Home, 220 N. Main St., in De Soto, followed immediately by funeral services.
