Jean L. (Williams) Brockes, 87, of Robertsville, formerly of Fenton, died Dec. 5, 2021. Ms. Brockes put herself through nursing school and was retired from Barnes-Jewish Hospital in St. Louis. She enjoyed square dancing and was a member of many square dance clubs. She was also a member of two quilting clubs, an embroidery club, TOPS and Catawissa Club. She enjoyed planning month-long family vacations and had traveled to all 50 states, Canada, Mexico and the Bahamas. Raised in Doniphan, she was the daughter of Maudie V. (Moore) Williams.
She is survived by a daughter: Linda (Ron) Combs of Robertsville; a son: Gary (Margaret Gray) Brockes of Eureka; a special great-granddaughter: Carissa Olson; two grandsons; three granddaughters; six great-grandsons; two other great-granddaughters; and a great-great-grandson.
She was preceded in death by a son: Ronald Brockes; a granddaughter: Gina Brockes; and a great-granddaughter: Alyssa Hanlon.
