Janie Alice (Goode) Houser, 77, of House Springs died Aug. 17, 2022, in House Springs. Born Sept. 20, 1944, in Charleston, Mrs. Houser was the daughter of Eunice (Jennings) and Leroy Goode.
She was preceded in death by her husband: Robert Houser; a son: Jeffrey Houser; a sister: Debbie Latham: and a grandmother: Willie Killian.
She is survived by two daughters: Kimberly (Keith) Burke and Amy (Spencer) Francik; seven grandchildren: Robert (Logan) Houser, Chris Burke, Brittany (Nick) Hankins, Danielle Skrzelowski, Jacob Meeks, Justin (Sierra) Francik and Sophia Francik; six great-grandchildren: Henley, Harrison, Derek, Journey, baby Hankins and baby Francik; four siblings: Pamela Ryan, Tammy Canter, Tommy (Rosie) Latham and Todd (John) Latham; and many other family members and friends.
A memorial service for both Mr. and Mrs. Houser will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 30, at Chapel Hill Mortuary, 6300 Hwy. 30, in Cedar Hill, followed by a graveside service at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens in Cedar Hill. Memorials may be made to the Alzheimer's Association. Arrangements are under the direction of Chapel Hill Mortuary.
