Janice Marie McLain, 63, of De Soto died Feb. 13, 2017, at her home. Ms. McLain was a retired bus driver for the Fort Zumwalt School District. Born Sept. 9, 1953, in Sikeston, she was the daughter of James McAnulty Sr. of Dexter and the late Vivian Hampton.
She is survived by a son: Anthony (Bernadette) Littrell of Scott City; a daughter: Christy (Randel II) Risenhoover of De Soto; a sister: Mary (Gerald) Rucker of Troy; a brother: John (Sharon) McAnulty of Sikeston; seven grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by one brother: James McAnulty Jr.
A memorial gathering will be held from noon to 4 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 18, 2017, at De Soto Community Center, 400 Boyd St., De Soto. Memorials may be made to the family. Arrangements are under the direction of Mahn Funeral Home.
