Janet E. Fisher, 67, of Hillsboro died Jan. 12, 2021, in Hillsboro. Mrs. Fisher was a supervisor for a nursing home. Born Dec. 16, 1953, in St. Louis, she was the daughter of the late James and Trinney L. (Farris) Kimbrough. She is survived by her husband: Ronald G. “Ronnie” Fisher Sr. of Hillsboro.
She is survived by two children: Ronald G. “Punkie” (Vonda Scott) Fisher of Hillsboro and Janet “Sissy” (Walter “Buddy”) Brown of Hillsboro; twin brother Joel Kimbrough and three other brothers: Jerry (Dottie) Kimbrough, Johnny Kimbrough and Jarvis “Chief” Kimbrough; two sisters: Judy Gilliam and Joyce (Audrey) Sumpter; five grandchildren: Christine (Jared Pflasterer) Brown, Jacqueline (Kyle) Keeney, Kevin Brown, JoAnn (Charles) Stewart and Jamie Scott; six great-grandchildren: Oliver, Frankie and Simon Keeney, Emily Scott, and Isaiah and Peyton Stewart; 30 nieces and nephews; and 50 great-nieces and great-nephews.
Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. Friday (Jan. 15) at Kutis South County Chapel in south St. Louis County. Funeral services will be at 1:30 p.m. Saturday (Jan. 16) at the funeral home. Burial will be in Peaceful Meadows Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Kutis Funeral Home.
