Janet Christine Wilkinson, 55, of Festus died March 16, 2019, at her home. Mrs. Wilkinson was a sales assistant with Leader Publications. She enjoyed scrapbooking and spending time with her children. She was a member of First Baptist Church in De Soto. Born Sept. 4, 1963, in Houston, Mo., she was the daughter of Thelma (Luck) and Charles Dawson of Sullivan.
In addition to her parents, she is survived by her husband of 33 years: Charlie Wilkinson of Festus, whom she married May 3, 1986, in Bourbon; a son: Tanner Wilkinson of Springfield; a daughter: Brittany Wilkinson of Festus; a brother: David (Jari) Dawson of Sullivan; two sisters: Tammy (Bud) Brewer of St. James and Cassie Dawson of Sullivan; and numerous nieces and nephews.
A memorial gathering at 10 a.m. and a memorial service is scheduled for 1 p.m. Saturday, April 6, at First Baptist Church, 2000 Grace Way, in De Soto. Arrangements are under the direction of Mahn Funeral Home in De Soto.
