Jane M. Pashia, 71, of De Soto died Dec. 8, 2022, in De Soto. Ms. Pashia was a homemaker. Born Oct. 29, 1951, in Old Mines, she was the daughter of the late Verna Marie and Jesse Lee Boyer. She was preceded in death by her husband: Paschal J. Pashia.
She is survived by three children: Laura (the late David) Ingram of House Springs, Audrey (Bill) McElyea of Herculaneum and Matt (Amber) Pashia of Valles Mines; two siblings: Father Mark Boyer of Springfield and Diane Maxwell of Colorado Springs, Colo.; five grandchildren: Zachary (Jordan Reynolds) Ingram, Rebecah (Colton) McFadden, Savannah (Luke Valleck) McElyea, Wyatt Pashia and Reese Pashia; a sister-in-law: Cheryl Boyer; and two special friends: Dennis Bogard and Jan Bass.
She was preceded in death by three brothers: Jeff, Michael and Joseph Boyer; and a granddaughter: Samantha McElyea.
Funeral Mass was held Dec. 12 at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church in De Soto, officiated by Father Mark Boyer and Father Alexander Anderson. Burial was in the St. Joachim Cemetery in Old Mines. Arrangements were under the direction of Dietrich-Mothershead Funeral Home in De Soto.
