James “Jamey” Brinkley Jr., 41, of Arnold died March 2, 2018, at his home. Mr. Brinkley was a jack of all trades. He took great interest in old books and astrology. He loved to play his guitar and enjoyed playing pool and spending time with his family and his kids. Born Oct. 16, 1976, in Bluefield, W.V., he was the son of James Brinkley Sr. and Reva (York) Lynch.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by his wife: Annette Austin of Arnold; three children: O’ryan Doyal, Phoenix May and Victoria Doyal; four siblings: David (Danielle Nadeau) Brinkley of Eureka, Samantha (Clinton) Hamel of House Springs, Kevin Brinkley of Bluefield, W.V., and Christy Richmond of Bluefield, W.V.; many nieces, nephews and friends; and a special dog: Diesel.
He was preceded in death by his stepfather: Roger Lynch.
Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. Thursday, March 8, at Chapel Hill Mortuary, 6300 Hwy. 30, in Cedar Hill. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Friday, March 9, at the funeral home. Burial will be at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens. Arrangements are under the direction of Chapel Hill Mortuary.
