James F. “Jimmy” Butler Jr., 51, of Hillsboro died Oct. 5, 2020, at Mercy Hospital South in St. Louis County. Mr. Butler was a construction laborer. He loved the outdoors, hunting, fishing and working on cars. He was born Oct. 10, 1968, in Crystal City, the son of Charlotte (Dolan) Pritchett of Hillsboro and the late James F. Butler Sr. He also was the stepson of the late William Pritchett.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by two sisters: Mary (Dan) McClure and Michele Pritchett; a brother: Billy (Julie) Pritchett; four nephews: Sean McClure, Shane (Aubrey) McClure, Christopher Ivy and Dominic Ivy; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents: Charlotte and Thomas Dolan and Muriel and Albert Butler.
Memorials may be made to The Endangered Wolf Center, P.O. Box 760, Eureka, 63025. Arrangements were under the direction of Vinyard Funeral Home in Festus.
