James Erwin Taylor Jr., 62, of Pevely died May 1, 2021. Mr. Taylor was of the Christian faith. He was a member of the Goose Creek community and enjoyed spending time with his family and friends as well as camping and four wheeling. Born Dec. 15, 1958, he was the son of the late James and Helen E. (Blomker) Taylor.
He is survived by his children: James and Amanda (Thompson) Taylor, Jeremiah and Ashley (Wilson) Taylor and Kacey (Taylor) and Joseph Graslaub; eight grandchildren: Kaleigh, Jet, Jayden, Trenton, Brody and Gannon Taylor, Tre Stewart and Kamdyn Graslaub; and two sisters: Deborah (Taylor) Henry and Brenda (Taylor) Massey.
He was preceded in death by a brother: Thomas Taylor.
The family plans to hold a memorial service at a later date.
