James Albert Naumann, 25, of De Soto died Dec. 16, 2016, in Crystal City. Mr. Naumann worked at Wal-Mart and was a member of Highland Baptist Church. He had recently been accepted to Rankin Tech and was looking forward to training for a career in the electrical field. Born Nov. 25, 1991, in St. Louis, he was the son of Jacquelyn Smith Naumann of De Soto and Brandon Naumann of St. Louis.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by a daughter: Elizabeth Jacquelynn Rose Naumann of De Soto; his grandmother: Elaine Gleiber Naumann of St. Louis; two brothers: Justus and Joshua Naumann, both of De Soto; a sister: Rebecca Naumann of De Soto; aunts and uncles Melanie Smith, Stephanie Harvey, Larry Krause and Adam Naumann; and a host of other aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents: James Thomas Smith and Jennie Elita (Green) Smith-Krause; and his great-grandparents: Albert Gleiber, Oletta (Myers) Gleiber, Albina Mueller,Vincent Smith and Myrna Smith.
Visitation is scheduled for 11 a.m. and a funeral service for 1 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 22, at Robert D. Brown Funeral Home, 103 Fourth St., in Hillsboro. Burial is in the Sandy Baptist Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Robert D. Brown Funeral Home.
