Jacob E. “Jake” Martin, 37, of Cape Girardeau died Aug. 18, 2018, in Cape Girardeau. Born Sept. 16, 1980, in Festus, he was the son of Warren (Brenda) Martin of De Soto and the late Sandra (Deaton) Martin.
In addition to his father, he is survived by a sister: Kimberly Martin of Evansville, Ind.; a brother: Anthony “Tony” Martin of Joplin; a stepsister: Molly (John) Anderson of De Soto; and a stepbrother: Dr. Desmond “Desi” (Lori) Young of Murrell’s Inlet, S.C.
Funeral services and burial were private. Arrangements were under the direction of Dietrich-Mothershead Funeral Home in De Soto.
