Jackie M. “Jack” Christopher, 79, of Festus died Dec. 29, 2020, at Barnes Jewish Hospital in St. Louis. Mr. Christopher was a veteran of the U.S. Navy and worked as a refrigeration engineer for Gateway Cold Storage. Born April 17, 1941, in De Soto, he was the son of the late Clifford Lee and Virginia (Hoyt) Christopher. He was preceded in death by his wife: Claudia Christine (Pikey) Christopher.
He is survived by a daughter: Kara Christopher of St. Louis; and five siblings: Ray (Wonda) Christopher of Cherryville, Jerry (Donna) Christopher of Festus, Marian (Bob) McKay of Seattle, Wash., Gloria Hubka of Seattle, Wash., and Norma Helms of St. Peters.
He was preceded in death by four siblings: Robert Christopher, Charles Christopher, Jimmy Christopher and William Christopher; and two brothers-in-law: Gordon Hubka and Dennis Helms.
Funeral services and burial were private. Arrangements were under the direction of Dietrich-Mothershead Funeral Home in De Soto.
