Irvin “Toot” Sprock, 94, of Valley Park died July 1, 2022, at his home. Mr. Sprock had worked at Arch- Daniels in Valley Park. He was a kind and loving person and enjoying company and helping other people out. Born June 28, 1928, in St. Louis, he was the son of the late Frank and Katherine (Burkart) Sprock. He was preceded in death by his wife: June (nee Stuart) Sprock
He is survived by a daughter: Tammy (Jim) Douglas; a grandson: James Sterling (Emily) Douglas; a great-grandson: James Cooper Douglas; a stepdaughter: Sharon Harvey; seven step-grandchildren: Keith (Maria) Davis, Scott Jerca, Frank (Jennifer) Jerca, Kevin (Tanya) Harvey, Kim Harvey, John Biesner and Johny Reynolds; numerous step-great-grandchildren; and numerous extended family members and friends. He was preceded in death by three stepchildren: Pat Jerca, Kenny Davis and Rita Beckman; and three step-great-grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled from 4-8 p.m. Thursday, July 7, at Chapel Hill Mortuary, 6300 Hwy. 30, in Cedar Hill. A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, July 8, at the funeral home, followed by a graveside service at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens. Memorials may be made to the Open Door Animal Sanctuary. Arrangements are under the direction of Chapel Hill Mortuary.
