Iris G. Spain, 79, of Lemay died Sept. 29, 2021, at Hillcrest Care Center in De Soto. Mrs. Spain was a graduate of Harris Stowe College. She was a music teacher for the Hazelwood School District and a member of Rose of Sharon Church in De Soto. Born May 13, 1942, in Arnold, she was the daughter of the late Leslie Spain and Maxine (Duke) Spain Rodgers.
She is survived by one sibling: Joan Brockes of De Soto.
She was preceded in death by two sisters: Shirley Joyce Heibel and Nancy Ann Williams.
Visitation will be from 10-11 a.m. until a funeral service at 11 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 2, at Dietrich-Mothershead Funeral Home, 220 N. Main, in De Soto, officiated by Kathi Johnson. Burial is in the New St. Marcus Cemetery in St. Louis. Arrangements are under the direction of Dietrich-Mothershead Funeral Home.
