Hubert A. “Bert” Zebrowski Sr., 88, of Festus died Jan. 11, 2020, at the de Greeff Hospice House in St. Louis County. Mr. Zebrowski was a retired electrician from the Metal Container Corp. in Arnold and served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. He was a member of Our Lady Church in Festus, Electrical Workers Local No. 1; and VFW Post 3777. Born Nov. 6, 1931, in Glassport, Pa., he was the son of the late Helena (Pryzwarty) and Constantine Zebrowski.

He was preceded in death by his wife: Eleanor (Borzillo) Zebrowski.

He is survived by two daughters: Mary Zebrowski and Laura (Scott) Wampler, both of Festus; a son: Hubert A. “Skip” (Reba Sue) Zebrowski of Crystal City; six grandchildren: Tasha (Philip) Zebrowan, Micaela (Jon) Wilzonski, Andrea (Jacob Garner) Marlow, Jacob Marlow, Justin (Lauren Barreca) Wampler and Zac Wampler; and a great-grandson: Ernest Hubert Wilzonski.

He was preceded in death by a granddaughter: Alycia Nichole Zebrowski; seven brothers; and five sisters.

Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 15, at Vinyard Funeral Home, 616 W. Main St., in Festus. Funeral Mass will be at 10 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 16, at Our Lady Catholic Church, 1550 St. Mary’s Lane, in Festus, officiated by Father Gregory Klump. Burial will be in Sacred Heart Cemetery in Crystal City. Memorials may be made to the National Kidney Foundation or to Our Lady Catholic Church. Arrangements are under the direction of Vinyard Funeral Home.
