Howarth “Al” Poole, 84, of Barnhart died Oct. 12, 2019, at Scenic Nursing and Rehab in Herculaneum. Mr. Poole was a retired remodeler, handyman and rodeo cowboy. He served in the U.S. Air Force and was a member of Gateway Christian Church in Des Peres and was a radio-controlled model airplane pilot and competitor. He was born Jan. 2, 1935, in St. Louis, the son of the late Alice (Miner) and Albert William Poole.
He is survived by a daughter: Moulissa Poole of Bourbon; two sons: Christopher Poole of St. Louis, and Travis (Junko) Poole of Maryland Heights; a sister: Loy Nadine Goetz of Barnhart; and a grandson: Joshua Poole.
He was preceded in death by a brother-in-law: Robert Goetz; and two half-sisters.
A memorial gathering and funeral service will be scheduled at a later date.
