Howard Ray Heneisen, 76, of Eureka died Feb. 3, 2021, at his home. Mr. Heneisen graduated from Reitz High School in 1962 and worked with Chrysler Corp. at both St. Louis assembly plants in Fenton for 34 years. He served the communities of Eureka and Times Beach as a law enforcement officer from that late 1960s to the early 1980s. He volunteered as a Khoury League manager and coach, a hospice worker, and a missionary worker. He enjoyed singing in the church choir, watching football and NASCAR, travelling, fishing, and repairing things for family and friends. Born Aug. 24, 1944, in Evansville, Ind., he was the son of the late Howard Ralph and Mildred Hall Heneisen.
He is survived by his wife of 58 years: Barbara Ann (Rumage) Heneisen; three children: Jeffrey Lee (Rhonda) Heneisen of Royersford, Pa., Steven Ray (Mandy) Heneisen of Pacific and Christianne Heneisen of Eureka; 10 grandchildren: Holly Heneisen, Ryan Heneisen, Matt Rademacher, Mike Miller, Jessica Rademacher, Emily Hammer, Mitchell Miller, Kaelin Hammer, Ezekiel Hammer and Sophia Hammer; a great-granddaughter: Marley Vanderveld; a brother: Ralph Edward (Colleen) Heneisen of Evansville, Ind.; an uncle: Virgil Heneisen of Dale, Ind.; and numerous other family members and friends.
A celebration of life will be held a
A celebration of life will be held from 1-4 p.m. Saturday (Feb. 27) at Andre's West, 211 S. Old Hwy. 141, in Fenton. Luncheon will be served at 1:30 p.m. Memorials may be made to a hospice of the donor’s choice. Arrangements are under the direction of Schrader Funeral Home in Ballwin.
