Helena Marie “Laney” Lednick, 5 months, died Oct. 7, 2019, in Festus. Laney was a happy baby who brightened everyone’s day with her continuous smiles and giggles. She loved her family’s made-up songs and playing “counting.” Laney was born May 19, 2019, in Kansas City, the daughter of Sara Marie Swiderski of Tampa, Fla., and Samuel Charles Lednick of Festus.
In addition to her parents, she is survived by her grandparents: Suzanne Swiderski of Sterling Heights, Mich., and Sandy and Bruce Lednick of Festus.
She was preceded in death by her grandfather: Watson William Swiderski.
Funeral services were private. Arrangements were under the direction of Vinyard Funeral Home in Festus.
