Heath Alan Bollinger, 37, of Festus died Jan. 16, 2019, at his home. Mr. Bollinger was a tree trimmer and truck driver. He was an avid fisherman, hunter and outdoorsman. Born Nov. 9, 1981, in St. Louis, he was the son of Linda (Meyer) and Rick L. Bollinger of Festus.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by a sister: Tracie Ann (Mark) Higgins of Sharksburg, Ga.; a brother: Jon (Brittany) Bollinger of Hillsboro; his grandfather: Cletus (the late Wilma “Billie”) Meyer of Festus; three nieces: Cheyenne Brown, Alyssa Bollinger and Teagynn Bollinger; two nephews: Thad Higgins and Alex Bollinger; a great-niece: Violet King; and his dogs: Casey and Bear.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents: Helen and Leo F. Bollinger.
A memorial service was held Jan. 21 at Vinyard Funeral Home in Festus, officiated by Father Mike Coleman. Memorials may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association. Arrangements are under the direction of Vinyard Funeral Home.
