Harry “Milo” Allen Sr., 83, of Festus died April 14, 2019, in Festus. Mr. Allen enjoyed fishing, hunting, music, gardening and played the guitar most of his life. Born April 14, 1936, in Cedar Fork, he was the son of the late Lawerence and Lanieta (Favier) Allen. He was preceded in death by his wife: Emma (Low) Allen.
He is survived by three sons: Harry (Mary) Allen Jr. of Hillsboro, Keith (Susan) Allen of Arnold and Gant Allen of Vail, Colo.; two daughters: Karla (Steve) Wright of Hillsboro and Tina (Daniel) Peterman of Berkeley Springs, Nev.; a sister: Lois Jean (Palmer) Fritche of Perryville; two grandchildren: Shawn and Daniel Wright; two great-grandchildren: Logan and Kaley Wright; and his girlfriend, Betty Schellin.
He was preceded in death by six brothers: Bud, Raymond, Delbert, Walker, Hadley and Vallie; and a sister: Trudy Lane.
A memorial gathering is scheduled from 4-8 p.m. Wednesday, April 17, at Mahn Twin City Chapel, 515 Collins Dr., in Festus. Arrangements are under the direction of Mahn Twin City Chapel.
