Harold Floyd Fitzgerald, 68, of Festus died May 22, 2014, at his home. Mr. Fitzgerald was a sales representative for Lane House Construction and enjoyed going to state sales and going out to eat. He was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force. Born July 23, 1945, in St Louis, he was the son of the late Raymond Ray Fitzgerald and Alberta Christina (Grundmeyer) Meyer.
He is survived by his wife of 32 years: Cindy (Harmon) Fitzgerald of Festus; a son: Harold F. Fitzgerald Jr. of St Louis; a daughter: Angela D. Wilson of Festus; five grandchildren: Aron, Alex, Brandon, Kyle and Matthew; one great-grandchild: McKenzie; his lifelong friend: John P. Lawson; and two sisters: Gloria (Rodger) Moore - Johnson of Belvidere, Ill., and Florence Diane Woelfer of High Ridge. He was preceded in death by a brother: Richard Ray Fitzgerald.
Funeral services and burial were private. Memorials may be made to the National Kidney Foundation, 10803 Olive Blvd., Suite 200, St Louis, 63141; or to St Anthonys Hospice, 10010 Kennerly Road, St Louis, 63128-9923. Arrangements were under the direction of Mahn Twin City Chapel in Festus.
