Gwen Elizabeth Cook, 61, of Festus died July 29, 2022, at her home. Ms. Cook was a stocker for the Twin City Walmart store. Born June 1, 1961, in St. Louis, she was the daughter of Margaret (Redmond) Cook of Farmington.
In addition to her mother, she is survived by a sister: Susan (Robert) Abernathy of Festus; a brother-in-law: Shawn Ponder of Festus; a nephew: Jesse (Theresa) Pehle of De Soto; two great-nieces; and many other family and friends. She was preceded in death by a sister: Lena Ponder.
Funeral services and burial were private. Arrangements were under the direction of Vinyard Funeral Home in Festus.
