Gracemary (Hynes) Coleman, 74, Crystal City

Gracemary (Hynes) Coleman, 74, of Crystal City died Nov. 9, 2019, in O’Fallon. Mrs. Coleman was a member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witness. She enjoyed bowling, fishing, working outdoors and fixing things.

Born Nov. 25, 1944, in Hematite, she was the daughter of the late Fred and Kathryn (Elliott) Hynes. She also was preceded in death by her husband: Ernest “Al” Coleman.

She is survived by four children: Michelle (Jack) Nuckolls of Wildwood, Lonnie Graff Jr. of Branson, Lisa (John) Boyer of O’Fallon, Misty (Tony) Link of Imperial; seven siblings: Charlotte Monroe of Kansas City, Vonna Taylor of Wichita, Kan., Suellen (Larry) Booth of Crystal City, Vanetta “Toogie” (Jerry) Adkisson of Bedford, Iowa, Rochelle “Cookie” (Rick) Vandeveer of Kansas City, Melanie (Les) Brumley of Kansas City, Fred (Sandra) Hynes of Festus; nine grandchildren: Casey Gushleff, Caitlyn Lyons, Colten Gushleff, Bryant Graff, Justin Graff, Brittney Graff, Jordan Ryan, Kyle Johnson, Alyssa Johnson; and nine great-grandchildren, plus one on the way.

She was preceded in death by a sibling: Randy Hynes.

A celebration of life will be at 2 p.m. Nov. 24, at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, 601 Collins Drive, in Festus.
