Gloria Hall, 70, of Corning, Ark., died Nov. 27, 2017, in Corning. Mrs. Hall was a waitress and a member of the Christian faith. Born Aug. 31, 1947, in St. Louis, she was the daughter of the late Wiley and Vestel (Richie) Downs.
She is survived by her husband of 56 years: Bobby Dewayne Hall Sr. of Corning; three children: Terry (Tammy) Hall of Hillsboro, Diana (Don) Herren of Corning and Shannon Maxedon of O’Fallon; five siblings: Joyce Crawley of St. Louis, Charles Downs of Barnhart, Harlan Downs of Wappapello, Ernie Downs of Michigan and Danny Downs of House Springs.; five grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and one daughter-in-law: Karen Hall of Hillsboro.
She was preceded in death by a son: Bobby Hall Jr.
A funeral service was held Dec. 1 at Ermert Funeral Home in Corning, Ark., officiated by Brother Jeff Crain. Burial was in the Corning Cemetery. Arrangements were under the direction of Ermert Funeral Home.
