Glennon Henry “Glenn” Kennedy, 82, of Imperial died Dec. 6, 2022. Mr. Kennedy worked for Chrysler for 35 years. He also was a painter, carpenter, gardener, jazz lover, card player, travel agent and dad joke inventor. Most of all, he enjoyed spending time with family. Born March 19, 1940, he was the son of the late Sylvester and Edna (Miller) Kennedy.
He was preceded in death by his wife: Margaret Kennedy.
He is survived by five children: Steven (Colleen) Kennedy, David (Christina) Kennedy, Christopher (Holly) Kennedy, Laura (Matthew) Thomas and Amy (Kevin) Eisenhauer; 10 grandchildren: Alyssa (Jeff) Kennedy, Cody (Emma) Kennedy, Anthony Williams, Brayden (Alicia) Williams, Kennedy Thomas, Faith Kennedy, Hannah Thomas, Gabriella Kennedy, Joseph Kennedy and Sofia Kennedy; three great-grandchildren: Miles, Cecelia and Lorraine; a sister: Jeanette (Ralph) Jung; a brother: Raymond Kennedy; and a sister-in-law: Janet Ketts.
He was preceded in death by a brother: Ralph Kennedy.
Visitation will be from 5-8 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 14, at Hoffmeister South County Chapel, 1515 Lemay Ferry Road, in St. Louis County. Memorials may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project or the National Parks Foundation. Arrangements are under the direction of Heiligtag-Lang-Fendler Funeral Home in Arnold.
