Glenda “Sue” (Glore) Smith, 71, of De Soto died March 3, 2020, at Capital Region Medical Center in Jefferson City. Born Aug. 15, 1948, in Bonne Terre, she was the daughter of the late Chester L. and Elba Jane (McGee) Glore.
She was preceded in death by her husband: Jimmy R. Smith.
She is survived by a son: Ronnie (Lynnlea) Smith; a grandchild: Kyle (Kate) Smith; two step-grandchildren: Haylea and Brayden Cooley; three great-grandchildren; five brothers: Eddy (Donna) Glore, Kenny Glore, Lonnie (Karlene) Glore, Robert Glore and Alan (Diana) Glore; two sisters: Karen (Glen Hendrix) Davis and Elba Glore; and nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by three brothers: Tommy Glore, Clyde “Bill” McGee and Gary Glore; a sister: Bertha Glore; and a special niece: Rebecca Pettus.
Visitation will be from 5-9 p.m. Friday, March 6, at C.Z. Boyer & Son Funeral Home, 313 Benham St., in Bonne Terre. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, March 7, at the funeral home chapel. Burial will follow at Buster Cemetery in Valles Mines. Arrangements are under the direction of C.Z. Boyer & Son Funeral Home.
