George F. Wymore, 80, Pevely died April 25, 2022, at Mercy Hospital Jefferson in Crystal City. Mr. Wymore was a truck driver for the company that had a delivery contract for White Castle for 30 years. He served in the U.S. Marine Corps, including a tour of duty in Vietnam in Kilo Co, 3rd Battalion, 1st Marines. After that, he was an instructor at Camp Geiger, N.C. Born May 16, 1941, in Piedmont, he was the son of the late George W. Wymore and Mary Lou (Doney) Wymore.
He is survived by his wife: Sarah R. (Borucki) Wymore; two children: Lisa (Richard) Haarmann and Kenneth Wymore; three grandchildren: Sarah, Jennifer and Laura Haarmann; and three brothers: Tom, Charles and James Wymore
He was preceded in death by three siblings: Yvonne Long and Robert and William Wymore.
Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until the funeral service at 10 a.m. Monday, May 2, at Kutis South County, 5255 Lemay Ferry Road, in St. Louis County. Burial will be in the National Cemetery at Jefferson Barracks. Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, Wounded Warrior Project or A Charity of your choice.
