Gail Loretta Solomon, 72, of Ironton died Monday, Aug. 27, 2018. A 1964 graduate of Festus High School, Mrs. Solomon worked many years as a manager in a medical equipment rental and sales company. She also was a member of Ste. Marie du Lac Catholic Church in Ironton.
Born Oct. 22, 1945, in Searcy, Ark., the daughter of the late George and Louise Stevens Baker.
On June 20, 1964, she married Henry Solomon, who survives. Also surviving are three children: Karen (Joe) Page of Ironton, Kathy (Brian) Geyer of Arcadia, and Mandie Hudson of Bismarck; one brother: Benjamin Baker of Clinton, Ill.; 10 grandchildren: and many family members and friends.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Solomon was preceded in death by a brother: Clarence James Baker; and a granddaughter: Heather Shaw.
A funeral Mass will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday (Sept. 5) 10 a.m. at the Ste. Marie du Lac Catholic Church.
Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association. Arrangements are under the direction of Cole Family Funeral Home in Ironton.
