Fred Eugene “Fritz” Visnovske, 71, of Festus died Feb. 12, 2023, at his home. Mr. Visnovske worked in maintenance for Kohler Craft Plastics. He was an avid sports fan, an excellent angler and hunter and an accomplished cook. He enjoyed gardening, and entertaining and was known as the life of any party. He was a member of VFW Post 3777 and the Glassworkers Country Club. Born Aug. 5, 1951, in Crystal City, he was the son of the late Anthony and Alberta (Freuh) Visnovske.
He is survived by his wife: Debbie K. Visnovske of Festus; two sons: Christopher Visnovske of Bonne Terre and Bryce Visnovske of De Soto; three grandchildren: Dylan, Ryan and Freddie; 11 sisters-in-law: Carolyn, Karen, Mary Lee, Linda, Diane, Donna, Judy, Patty, Kathy, Pam and June; seven brothers-in-law: John, Tom, Bookey, Tony, Marshall, Ray and Bob; friends Bill, Dave, Ronnie, Ricky, Teddy, Tom and Vonnie; and many other family members and friends.
He was preceded in death by three brothers: Glen Visnovske, Joe Visnovske, Bill Visnovske; and a brother-in-law: Dennis.
Celebration of life will be from 1-4 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 19, at VFW Post 3777, 900 VFW Dr., in Crystal City. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society. Arrangements are under the direction of Mahn Twin City Chapel in Festus.
