Frank E. Becker, 67, of Dittmer died Oct. 23, 2015, at his home. Mr. Becker served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War and was a lifetime member of the Cedar Hill VFW. He enjoyed float trips and watching NASCAR races and John Wayne and “Star Trek” movies. Born Dec. 30, 1947, in Arnold, he was the son of the late Wilfred J. and Mary (Mossey) Becker. He is survived by his wife: Beverly (Enlow) Becker.
He also is survived by two children: Steven (Rebecca) McKeen of Fenton and Sheri McKeen of Dittmer; two grandchildren: Kaylee and Madison McKeen; six siblings: Wilfred Becker Jr. of Fort Myers, Fla., Cornelius (Sue) Becker of Fort Myers, Rosalie Cooseman of High Ridge, Mary Ellen (John) Miller of Salem, John (Connie) Becker of Cuba and Jolene (Barnie) Wilcox of Ballwin; and a sister-in-law, Judy Becker of Imperial.
He was preceded in death by three siblings: Betty Mueller, Kathleen Hawkins and Thomas Becker.
Visitation will be held from 2-7 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 28 at Chapel Hill Mortuary, 6300 Hwy. 30, in Cedar Hill, followed immediately by the funeral service. Memorials may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project. Arrangements are under the direction of Chapel Hill Mortuary.
