Francis Lloyd, 60, Imperial

Francis Lloyd, 60, of Imperial died March 10, 2023, in St. Louis. Mr. Lloyd was a research entomologist at Monsanto. Born Aug. 5, 1962, in Preston, England, he was the son of the late Francis and Agnes (Beagan) Lloyd.

He is survived by his fiancee: Jennifer Picker of Imperial; two sisters: Annie Lloyd of Renfrewshire, Scotland, and Celia Lloyd of Dunblane, Scotland; a sister-in-law: Karen (Scott) Allen of Imperial; a niece: Sarah Allen of Imperial; and two nephews: Daniel and Joshua Allen, both of Imperial.

A memorial gathering will be from 1-4 p.m. Saturday, April 1, at Heiligtag-Lang-Fendler Funeral Home, 1081 Jeffco Blvd., in Arnold. A potluck celebration of life will follow at 5 p.m. at VFW Post 4223 at 215 Military Road in Lemay. Memorials may be made to Stray Rescue of St. Louis. Arrangements are under the direction of Heiligtag-Lang-Fendler Funeral Home.
