Fannie L. Walker, 84, of Arnold died Aug. 3, 2020. Mrs. Walker loved traveling to visit family, music and playing Yahtzee. She fostered numerous children throughout her life. Born Aug. 24, 1935, in South Pittsburg, Tenn., she was the daughter of the late Athena (Smith) and Floyd Parker Nelson.
She was preceded in death by her husband: Max Walker.
She is survived by two children: Kevin Walker and Dale Walker; three grandchildren: Cassie Walker, Matt Walker and Mark Walker; and five siblings: Gayle Stewart, Wilma Bennette, Joyce Harjun, Pam Payne, Raymond Nelson.
She was preceded in death by two children: Donnie Walker and Kenny Walker; and six siblings: Parker Nelson, Jerry Nelson, Sue Chidester, Mary Scott, Betty Jo Nelson and Helen Vaughn.
Graveside services were held Aug. 15 at Shepherd Hills Cemetery in Barnhart. Arrangements were under the direction of Heiligtag-Lang-Fendler Funeral Home, Arnold.
