Fabian Govero, 87, of House Springs died August 14, 2017. He was a welder for Channesson Electric Co. He also was a member of the Joachim Masonic Lodge 164 for more than 50 years. Mr. Fabian loved to eat, travel, bowl, fish and spend time with his friends.
Born July 29, 1930, in Tiff, he was the son of the late Theodore and Mary (Sansoucie) Govero. He also was preceded in death by his wife: Shirley Govero.
He is survived by three daughters: Linda Govero of House Springs, Sandy (David) Miller of Branson and Lora (Rick) Pennington of Cedar Hill, two sons: Allen (Carolyn) Govero of Farmington and Daniel (Joan) Govero of Columbia; a sister: Evelyn Paschell of Arnold; thirteen grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and many relatives and friends.
He is preceded in death by a daughter: Paula Govero; a sister, Alice Gahn; two brothers: William Theodore Govero and Sylvester Govero: and two brothers in law: Ed Paschell and Jim Gahn.
A visitation is scheduled from 4-8 p.m. Friday, Aug. 18, at Chapel Hill Mortuary, 6300 Hwy. 30, in Cedar Hill. Funeral services are at 10 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 19, at the funeral home. Burial will be in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens. Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. Arrangements are under the direction of Chapel Hill Mortuary.
