Eva Sue Ingram, 72, of Dittmer died Oct. 2, 2019, at her home. Mrs. Ingram was a homemaker who loved church and playing the piano and enjoyed watching the hummingbirds and teaching her children and grandchildren to sing. She was born Jan. 8, 1947, in St. Louis, the daughter of the late Andrew and Ethel (Gilliam) Hayes.
She is survived by her husband: Gary H. Ingram of Dittmer; five children: Johanna (Dan) Sexton of Owensville, Beth Ingram of Fletcher, Ben Ingram of De Soto, Wayne Ingram of De Soto and Cindy (Matt) Tomcsany of Festus; seven siblings: Maebell (the late Bill) Patterson, Jim (Edith) Hayes, Mary (the late Jean) Wren, Thomas (Geneva) Hayes, Herschel (the late Lesty) Hayes, Eunice (the late Jim) Jordan and Elmer Hayes; 11 grandchildren; a brother-in-law: Johnny Eye; and eight great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a daughter: Angela Sue Ingram; and three siblings: Paul Hayes, David (Shirley) Hayes and Donna Eye.
Visitation is at 11 a.m. followed by a funeral service at 1 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 8, at Life Christian Church in De Soto, officiated by Derry Bowling and Gary Ingram. Burial is in the Peaceful Ridge Cemetery in De Soto. Arrangements are under the direction of Dietrich-Mothershead Funeral Home in De Soto.
