Emily Michelle Clifford, 27, of Desloge died Sept. 27, 2020, from injuries she sustained in an automobile accident. Ms. Clifford was employed as an LPN in the infirmary at the Potosi Correctional Facility. She enjoyed spending time with her son, fishing, hiking, traveling, riding motorcycles, and eating out with family and friends. Born Oct. 27, 1992, in Crystal City, she was the daughter of Michael Anthony Taylor and Angela Ann (John Dees) Dodd-Dees.
In addition to her parents and stepfather, she is survived by a son: Hunter Dean Clifford; a sister: Ashley (Brandon) Woolard of Puxico; two stepbrothers: John D. Dees of St. Louis and Zachary Dees of Crystal City; her grandparents: Jack and Ann Dodd of De Soto and Betty Taylor of Bonne Terre; and numerous other family members and friends.
She was preceded in death by a grandfather: Gale Taylor.
Visitation is scheduled from 5-8 p.m. Friday, Oct. 2, at Mahn Funeral Home, 900 N. Main St., in De Soto. A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 3, at the funeral home, officiated by the Rev. Mark Farrell. Burial will follow in the Peaceful Ridge Cemetery in De Soto. Memorials may be made to the family. Arrangements are under the direction of Mahn Funeral Home.
