Elsie R. (Buffington) Harmon, 79, of Barnhart died Jan. 13, 2019. Mrs. Harmon was a homemaker. Born Oct. 11, 1939, in Leeper, she was the daughter of the late Roy and Virgie (Provance) Buffington.
She is survived by her husband: Herman Harmon; three children: Dale (Tracy) Harmon of Cedar Hill, Brenda (Harvey) Riddle of Glen Allen and Kimberly (Russ) Ashlock of Arnold; five grandchildren: Jeff, Tiffany, Chris, Crystal and Shelby; 10 great-grandchildren: Jayden, Paige, Joey, Benny, Annie, Macey, Devon, Alana, Jasmin and Arizona; five siblings: Tommy, Christina Rose, Susie, Donald and Aaron; and four grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren by marriage. She was preceded in death by one grandchild: Tiffany Riddle; and four siblings: Jimmy, Phillip, Jackie and Omalee.
Visitation is at 11 a.m. until the funeral service at 2 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 17, at Heiligtag-Lang-Fendler Funeral Home, 1081 Jeffco Blvd., in Arnold. Burial is in the Shepherd Hills Cemetery in Barnhart. Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. Arrangements are under the direction of Heiligtag-Lang-Fendler Funeral Home.
