Eloise M. Asbridge, 94, of Crystal City died Nov. 19, 2021, in Crystal Oaks Skilled Nursing in Crystal City. Mrs. Asbridge was a retired dietician from Jefferson Memorial Hospital (now Mercy Hospital Jefferson) in Crystal City. She was a member of the Second Baptist Church in Festus. Born Oct. 6, 1927, in Flat River, she was the daughter of the late Ethel (Brown) and James Clark.
She was preceded in death by her husband: Robert L Asbridge.
She is survived by a daughter: Kim (Timothy) Whaley of Herculaneum; two sons: Jeff Asbridge of Festus and Kevin (Carolyn) Asbridge of Herculaneum; a son-in-law: Donald Dyle of Festus; 11 grandchildren: Andrea Gemes, Josh and Tyler Whaley, Brittany, Austin and Konnor Asbridge, Shea Hausermann, Kayla Thompson, Karissa Mann, Danise Clay and Deana Dyle; nine great-grandchildren: Chase and Carter Gemes, Madison and Nolan Whaley, Kendon Higgins, Bryar and Cohen Hausermann, Luke Meese and Kyle Clay; and two great-great-grandchildren: Ray Meese and Emmit Meese.
She was preceded in death by a daughter: Dianna Rae Dyle; and two siblings: Estelle Fingers and Floyd Clark.
Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 24, at Vinyard Funeral Home, 616 W. Main St., in Festus, immediately followed by services officiated by the Rev. Randy Casey. Burial will be in Rose Lawn Memorial Gardens in Crystal City. Memorials may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association or to Second Baptist Church in Festus. Arrangements are under the direction of Vinyard Funeral Homes, Festus.
