Elizabeth Louise Rotter, 62, of St. Louis, formerly of De Soto, died April 10, 2022, at Mercy Hospital Jefferson in Crystal City. Ms. Rotter was born Aug. 2, 1959, in St. Louis, the daughter of the late Richard Grimm and Patricia (Ralph) Livingston O'Shea.
She is survived by four sons: Timothy Rotter of St. Louis, Thomas Rotter of De Soto, Rian Rotter of De Soto and Joseph Rotter of De Soto; two daughters: Laura (Curtis Smith) Sanders of De Soto and Rachael Wold; her friend and former spouse: Jeffrey Rotter; her best friend: Sherry Hatley; six grandchildren: Courtney, Tommy, Gregory, Grace, Lucas and Bryson; two great -grandchildren: Rosalie and Hayden; and her dog, Pogo.
She was preceded in death by a son: Brian Rotter; and two brothers: Pat Reese and Richard Reese.
A funeral Mass will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, April 30, at St. John The Baptist Catholic Church, 4200 Delor St., in St. Louis. A celebration of life gathering will follow at noon in the Knights of Columbus Hall, 9330 Old Hwy. 21, in Hillsboro. Memorials may be made to the American Kidney Foundation. Arrangements are under the direction of Mahn Funeral Home in De Soto.
